I've messed the names in Mozart Symphonies, now they all have one title "varies".
Thought the easiest way is to import this particular .iso file from my NAS.
It was all working and now I do not know why I cannot perform straightforward import.
Data option enabled, I can see .iso, dsd, etc in import under data, but when I browse to relevant folder on NAS, the files are greyed out. And nothing gets imported. Should I first remove existing entry before importing or will import overwrite the existing one in library.
Pls help.
I will add another question: how to sync particular single .iso file in case described above.

anyone can help pls?
Is the only way to repair entries in library to remove album (.iso) and import once again?
Why it is not possible to overwrite the existing one?
And this is why I cannot import thus particular .iso
thanks

Maybe the files are read only.
Are you browsing in MC? Or in the OS?
-
Do you have .cue files next to the ISO? I think for Audio, those are the ones to import.
"varies" normally shows up when you have more than one file selected. Are you sure the actual name on each individual track is "Varies" ?

I have some 860 .iso files from my collection of SACD's. I had to transfer them as my splendid SACD player refused to perform.
Now it's even better with MC.
I did not change anything in NAS or MC settings. Just wanted to replace .iso Mozart Symphonies entry in library with new import.
"varies" - I did it myself by mistake.
My guess is that perhaps I should remove the relevant entry from the library and then import anew from that particular subfolder.
Before, any imports , be it bulk or single worked without any problems.
So the question remains, how to update single entry (album)
thanks again

in MC
Import single folder - Browse in MC - point to the relevant folder - this opens OS window - select the subfolder - Finish; and import should go
With Auto-import MC does the scan searching for any new albums, but does it look for any differences between actual .iso file and entry in library?

If you delete the existing entries and re-import you probably have to do the create a smartlist of bad or removed trick to REALLY delete the old entries. Then try the import of a single folder again.
