Hi,
I would like to report two issues about jMC33 for Mac:
#1
The software search box cannot input Chinese characters (I used the system Chinese input method and other Chinese input methods), and it automatically changes to English characters after typing.
#2
Without visualization (spectrum view), nothing is displayed when opened.
Thanks.

What is the full version of MC? You could try a newer build from the forum.

Hi,
Already tried to reinstall MC 33.0.49(Silicon) on macOS 15.1.1
the problem still persists.
-
Hi,
May I ask is there any solution to this please?
-
MacOS 15.2 has fixed some serious problems. Worth trying.

Very strange, full keyboard access is disabled in my system settings.
The problem of being unable to input Chinese characters remains; and the visualization cannot be displayed normally.

the visualization cannot be displayed normally.
Can you explain what you mean by visualization because if you are referring to the entry on the Display Panel's right-click Menu none of the MC visualizations that are available in MC for Windows are not available on the Mac
-
Try pressing Command-K on the search box - it should open the input editor, though I'm not sure if that's still the case:

The problem of being unable to input Chinese characters remains;
Is this a recent issue or is it always this way? Are you able to input Chinese in any other part of MC (for example editing a track name)?

Hi,
Here is a screenshot about visualizations not showing up in macOS:
This is a screen recording about being unable to enter Chinese characters (because mp4 files cannot be uploaded)

As I said in my earlier posting those Visualizations are not available on the Mac Platform and at present there are no plans to make them available.
-
Yeah, I was going to say I thought those visualizations weren't available on Linux or Mac but you're on top of it like usual.
So it's expected behaviour that nothing's there since the available visualizations are Windows-only. But maybe Cycle All shouldn't be there (and the Visualizations menu too) if nothing's available? I suppose that Cycle All (and/or the Visualizations menu) appearing at all could be a minor issue at least.

When you type Chinese, was there a suggestion/candidate box appearing near the Search box, where you see a number of Chinese characters you can select from? Is it that the Chinese character you select does not appear in the Search box, or is it that no Chinese character appears at all?

there is no suggestions, no Chinese character appears at all.
