Hello,
I would to know how would I play simultaneously the same music both on the server and on the remote (Gizmo or JRemote) ?
I get the confused feeling that it should be possible...but I have no ideas on how I could achieve that.
Any hints about this ? ;) :)

You need to use Zones. https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Zones

I don't think a remote can be seen as a zone

I had a look yesterday on Zones, but gave up because I couldn't figure how it was supposed to be used for my simultaneous play question.
Any suggestion on where should I start ?

I think that more information about your setup is required to help much but do re-read the Zone Wiki page linked in an earlier post.
My high level understanding is that you would create a separate zone for each playback/audio system (assuming that you're using the word remote instead of MC client/DLNA device) then link them (https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/ZoneLink (https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/ZoneLink)) in the main pc. Please note that you would also have to enable Media Network in MC33 on at least the main pc or possibly both devices so that they would show if they are both on the same network.
Hopefully an expert can provide more help after the Holidays!

JRemote or gizmo do not appear as zones so that won't work
I am not aware of a way to sync remote and server playback so not sure this is possible

A remote acting as a renderer should work. You can play to JRiver for Android, for example.

I may have been imprecise in my initial post. When I'm talking about remotes, I'm specifically referring to Gizmo or JRemote. I should have been more precise.
