Hello, I have been using JRiver since the early 20s versions and love it. I just installed v33.0.30 Intel and am still in the trial period so have not upgraded from v32 I own. In the last year I started using my old 2017 macbook pro (Ventura 13.7.2) with the software. I can't for the life of me get Airplay to work.
I have searched this forum and the internet and I can't find a firm answer on whether Airplay is supported or not. Airplay is working perfectly fine with all other audio apps my laptop but JRiver does not. I select a homepod and it just keeps playing through the laptop speakers.
I did see someone here mention using Airfoil, which I tried and it works fine for Airplay but I would rather just control the audio through the volume control on the Mac
I have looked through every setting in the software but nothing seems to remedy the issue. Maybe JRiver doesn't support Airplay?
If Airplay is supported, any help in pointing me to the right settings to get this working wodl be greatly appreciated!

I seem to recall, at least in the past, that you'd need to use a third-party app like Airfoil to use Airplay with MC.

Airplay does work somewhere... maybe from the Id.

Airplay works fine on my Mac. On MC you just choose core audio and then, while playback is stopped, use the MacOS audio output chooser to select the AirPlay device. You may need to set MC's DSP Studio to output everything to 44.1k stereo.

I set MC to Core Audio, stopped playback and selected a home pod and hit play. The pinwheel spun for about 2 minutes then it started playing on the home pod. Guess I just need patience and wait till it connects. it connects fast with apple music or youtube but it does work with MC so all is well. Thank you all for the advice. :)
