Title: Grainy Video
Post by: smichalove on January 10, 2025, 11:45:46 pm
My video quality with JRiver 33.0.30 on 1080p is significantly worse than other players like VLC.  It is grainy and has poor color quality.

I have changed to use the new Present QUEUE but it made no difference.

It should not be a performance issue on my RTX 4070ti GPU.

Windows 11.  What is a good method for trouble shooting this?

Thanks!

What is the display?

Is it an HDR video?  All videos?

What is the display? --> Display is LG TV, the same video using VLC playback looks great.

Is it an HDR video?  All videos?  --> mainly issue with 1080p videos.  4K HDR seems to be working fine
Video card it RTX 4070 TI OC

Jim, is there any way to set all my JRiver video setting back to default ? I upgraded to 33.0.55 but the problem persists.
