Title: Cannot fine sort option...

When sorting Artists and Albums I would like the list to ignore elements like "The" so that artists like the "The Cure" is listed under 'C' rather than 'T'. I cannot find the option amongst all the settings for not knowing what to search for. Please advise...

In options, search for articles.

MC's Options > Tree & View > Sorting, the Ignore Articles option is what you're probably looking for.

Edit… I should’ve also asked if this setting would also apply to sorts within JRemote access…(?)
