Title: 2k SDR and 4k HDR displays .. Using only 4k content: Where/how to best transcode

I recently added a 4K UHD display to my household (of 2K SDR displays) and moved to exclusively 4K content on my media server. Please point me to the JRiver user manual content I must digest to get the best results.

Is there a way to see what the CPU utilization is for the various algos? And then your advice for a number to stay under?

It's mainly GPU

You can see timing with the debug osd

My systems, for the most part, use the GPU in the Intel CPU. One system has i5-6600T and the other has an i3-10300T CPU. If they are too puny, I could upgrade to i5-10500T processors. Thoughts? Thanks.
