Title: What's new compared to Version 21
Post by: PaulieTes on January 20, 2025, 06:25:36 am
Hi,

I've been using Media Center 21 since it was released and it works fine on my Windows 11 machine. A testament to the great software from J River.

I only use Media center for streaming music from my NAS: FLAC (24/96K), Wave (16/44.1K), and sometimes MP3. The DAC is connected to the PC by a USB cable.

What are the advantages of upgrading to version 33?

Thanks for your comments.
Paul

Other than digging through the release notes of every Media Center release from 22 to 33 (as there's been many changes for audio since 21 like the WDM driver, SoX resampler, TPDF dithering, HDCD decoding, etc.), your best option is probably to download Media Center 33 and run it in its 30 day free trial and try it for yourself.
