Title: how to analyze playlist for altered file paths
Post by: zonka on January 22, 2025, 08:20:13 am
I recently did some manual editing of file paths for several artists, then realized these tracks won't play on my current playlists due to a new file path. My question is how do I run a check of a playlist to see which files are altered and won't play?
I've read where there will be a red exclamation mark, but I don't see any. I'm guessing I would only see the red exclamation mark if it attempts to play it - but I have over 2000 songs in some lists, so that isn't an option. I want to know beforehand,  so I can fix them.
I hope I'm clear in my question.
Please let me know if there is an easy way to do this.
Thank you,
Drew

Why not just run Auto-Import so that MC can re-import and fix the paths on those files?

There you go:) I'm a relative novice, so I didn't know that would take care of it. I'll give it a shot.
Thanks!
