Title: Upgraded from Win10 to Win 11 - JRiver says I need to reinstall - my plyalists?
Post by: HamDog on January 25, 2025, 12:05:20 am
I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11.  When I double clicked on my JRiver 30 icon, a warning came up stating I need to reinstall JRiver.  If I reinstall, will I keep my playlists?  I had spend tremendous amounts of time creating playlists and creating segments from video concerts.  Will I lose it all?  What do I need to do to keep the playlists and the video segments I had created?  I will gladly upgrade to a newer version if I can somehow keep all that data.  Thanks for any advice!

Short answer is yes, the playlists will be there.

Read the wiki topic on backup.  Then back up your library in MC.

Thank you so much!  I reinstalled and everything works great.  All my playlists are there.  I am thrilled!  To show my appreciation, I just upgraded to MC33.  Once again, thank you for all the hard work you put into this awesome software.  It's much appreciated!
