Title: Changing a view. Some handholding would be appreciated.
Post by: Sky King on February 03, 2025, 09:27:52 am
When I launch MC, it comes up with the standard view enable where I have Playing Now, Audio, Images, Video, etc. on the left-hand side of the window.  In the Video area when it is expanded, I have Files, Home Videos, Movies, and Shows.  I've recently downloaded and tagged some lip sync test files as System and would like to be able to add that subheading under Video but can't seem to figure out how to do it?

A little handholding would be appreciated and thanks in advance!

How much do you need?

Does this help?

That's a walk-through I came up with 13 years ago that's still more-or-less current today :)

Basically, you're going to add a 'new, blank view' under Video, and your "set rules for file display" will restrict that view to show only the lipsync files. How you go about isolating them in the search rule depends a lot on where you saved them.

If you need more, just shout, help will not be far away :)

Marko,

Many thanks for the guidance!

Joe

(Edit:  Worked like a champ!  Thanks again!)

(PS.  Nice hawk or whatever species of raptor that is!)

My better half says it's a Peregrine Falcon.  Sure is cute!

Peregrine falcons were introduced in downtown Minneapolis 20 years ago or so.  They were induced to nest on a high rise building there.  They took to it and the pigeons disappeared from downtown.

Now that's an "invasive" species I can get behind!  As a kid, I used to raise pigeons for fun and food.  Squab is very tasty.

I have the best homing pigeon in the world. He always comes back to me.
Really? He Always comes back?

Oh yes, this is the sixth time I have sold him.

The owls get the rats and there's no food for the cats :o

The owls were introduced because the cats were being fed on the side and got lazy and stopped hunting , people don't feed owls !!
