Title: Internet backbone problems
Post by: JimH on January 25, 2003, 10:15:47 am
There is a new worm that has generated enough traffic on the Internet to create slowdowns.  It could be why several people have reported access problems last night and today.

This thing must still be running rampant. Pricewatch.com is still unavailable. Hydrogen Audio site was down yesterday. Or rather their server host was.

and may not get better untill next week

Most major servers have corrected the problem yesterday, it may take some time for all of them to get with the program.

All our servers were off line for about an hour just now because of this problem.  Our ISP's router choked on the traffic.

There may be more outages.

Sorry we were unavailable.
