Title: Wish List - Mouseover behaviour in Content Pane
Post by: mcphzgig on January 26, 2003, 10:42:48 am
It used to be that doing a mouseover of any line in the Content Pane would display the path and filename of the relevant item.

Now it displays a composite of Album, Artist, Track #, file type, size ,etc.  Most of this information is already displayed, while path\filename is often so long that it occupies or exceeds the pane width if added as a column.

I feel the mouseover filename display was very handy for debugging problems in my library/file locations. Now the only alternative seems to be to add the filename column when I need it, and remove it again when I've finished.

Anyone got any bright suggestions so we can have our cake and eat it too?

I turn mine off, but I see what your saying.

there is currently no way to change this.
