Title: Crash during import
Post by: leperlord on February 12, 2025, 05:01:46 am
But the next issue is one I have always had with JRiver adding a new import folder

It gets to about 18,216 files and then it crashes after hanging there for what seems forever

I am sure the files are ok because plex can scan all those files for its library, but I want to use JRiver because it is IMHO a superior program

The only thing I can think of is that maybe the folder is too large?

Does JRiver have a limit to how much it can scan and add?

Cheers

Full version of MC and OS, please.  Try the latest version of MC33.

Thank you

Version 31 it is mate

I am trying to do a watch/auto import and it gets a bit faster and actually completed another folder/drive

PS If I up to 33 will I need to reconfigure everything on my PC and my tablet that I use to access the PC library and play on my tablet with a dac amp?

Cheers

If you install MC33, it will find and copy an MC31 backup with settings.

Uninstall MC31 when you're happy.

Best to use the same version on both sides, but you can try leaving MC31.

Again I thank you

Such great news on the new install copying over all the older settings

PS When I set folders/drives in auto import will they be set to auto update whenever I add new files to those folders and remove files?

That seems a dream scenario lol

Thank you
