Good day
I start with a huge thanks for all the help I get here. Almost instantaneous most nights lol
Now that y all helped me sus how to use a 2nd install of JRiver on my Windows 10 tablet to access my library from another room I am over the top. I was using Plexamp for that, but their limit to 12 queue files in view drove me away. And no way they handle my DSD 512, so there is that.
The library view is a thing of beauty(Tho it takes forever,i mean nearly 2 full days to update the artwork. The artwork that was already there. The artwork that Plexamp and other players got,so why did JRiver miss those?)
I digress. Once all that work is out of the way, she is a beauty
So onto my question
How do I give my 2nd install on my tablet the same rights/access that my main PC with all the music has? I would IE love to R-click and locate on Disk(External), and all the other things
Also, I don`t seem to have some touch screen ability on my tablet IT when in the search bar in the top right, when I click the empty bar nowt happens, and my tablet keyboard does not pop up like it does in every other program. So what I do is copy-paste the name from my wordpad and R-click mouse-edit paste
Is there a way to solve both of those issues?
Cheers

Update
I found that in theatre view I have a touch screen, but there is no search bar to these old old eyes, and seems no right-click function on folders or files.
Is theatre view the only way to get touch screen?
UPDATE
Well this is odd
After accessing theatre view for a few minutes, and now back to the regular view I can R-click a file to view it on Disk(external), but my playlists are gone lol
It seems I now have the same access as my main PC now, but where did those playlists go?
They are still on my main pc,not on my tablet
Now having equal access I can live with the playlist error as I only had a few made and they were not complex or time consuming

Try press and hold to get the right click menu.
Re-connect to get server updates. Maybe you made the playlists after the connection was made.
-
Thank you. I can right-click, but what does not happen is my keyboard does not pop up like it does in any other program search bar when I touch it (And in Theatre View I cannot find a search bar, but I don't think I like Theatre View anyhow) I think "standard view is best for me.
Also, those play lists were there on both installs last night, still on PC install ,not my tablet
Not deal breakers tho

Well this is embarrassing
For some reason my tablet is not connected to the server anymore
It would just auto-connect before so I assumed it was
I looked closely and it is indeed not connected to my PC
And when I go to the advanced tools-media server on my PC or tablet nothing happens
So again I am stuck and also embarrassed I did not notice this immediately,as I said for a few days now my tablet would just auto-connect to the server, now neither install even opensthe server tab
-
Well i rebooted both devices several times and neither install responds to me trying to access media server
Tools-advanced tools-media server
-
That won't tell you anything.
On the server, look in the notification area in the lower right corner. Is Media Server running?
This is all well documented on the wiki.
-
Yes in win 10 system tray is hows as running
Also in both installs I confirmed access keys etc

A alot of just keep trying and now it works
Makes no sense to me,but I cant complain LOL
