Title: How Can I Delete the Contents of a Single Field in One or More Tracks?

One of the columns in my file list is "Comments". Is there a way I can delete the contents of that field, or delete the contents of that field in more than one track at a time?

Just select the files, open the Tag Editor panel on the left, find the Comment field and delete the text there (it should say "varies").
