Title: T+A DAC 200 and JRiver via USB

Hello,

I have a new T+A DAC200 connected to my PC via USB cable. Even though I have many high resolution FLAC files purchased from HD Tracks downloaded into my files everything I select and play gets the same 44.1khz data reading on the DAC200 display. I loaded the drivers from T+A and see the ASIO panel, the ASIO Current Sample Rate always says 44.1khz and it also says ASIO Staus is Not Active.
It seems the JRiver media player is not allowing native file sample rates to reach its output.  I've gone into Playback Options but nothing there seems to make a diference unless I select a DSD format and then my files wont play because they're FLAC PCM files.
I guess a simpler question might be...
How do I get JRiver to output my 24 bit 96k files in that format to my DAC 200 through a USB cable?

In the DSP Output Window try setting "Output Encoding" to NONE and Channels: to Source number of channels

Based on this message it seems like you haven't changed the Audio Output to be ASIO (it will probably be showing something like DAC 200 ASIO) in MC33 under Tools - Options - Audio device where the default is DirectSound IIRC.

Depending on whether you ever play audio/video with more than 2 channels, you may want to change the Channels value to 2 (stereo) as mentioned by English Tiger IF all audio is to be sent to your DAC. If you don't and you try to send 5/7 channels to a stereo device, you'll almost certainly get playback error messages (or at least I did a few times before I clued in on what I was missing).
