Title: MC will not play from SD Card

I recently purchased the latest version (34.0.3)of MC for Android on the Play Store. I have a 2025 Motorola G Power phone and I have all my music stored on an SD card on my phone. I was able to import my music into MC from the SD card but MC will NOT play music from the SD card. I can play any file on the SD card from Google Files but none will play from MC. If I continually hit the play button while in MC I can occasionally get a file to play, but otherwise no dice. Any ideas.

If you imported that location, the files should play.

I imported from the correct location and I can see all of the music including all of the album art. I use MC on my local PC and would like to use it on my phone, but it's not working. It also runs a bit erratically and seems to crash every now and then.
