Title: My 4K MKV video plays but no sound

I lost my AT&T internet for hours yesterday and couldn’t even get Plex to work on my network. I tried JRiver MC32 on my PC with the new High Noon 4K.

The video played but no sound using player. I tried other audio content later and that worked. Does JRiver MC32 not support DTS-HD MA stereo codec?

If your internet was down and it was the first time that MC32 was used to play a file with DTS-HD MA encoded, the lack of sound was probably due to MC 32 being unable to download/install the required codec to have the audio. Give it a try again once your internet is back up.
