Title: How do I stop the tree veiw opening up on the left hand side under Audio?
Post by: baldo on March 12, 2025, 11:23:43 am
How do I stop MC from automatically showing the tree view on the left hand side for a view?

Let me know if you want a screenshot.

Many thanks

Look for the tiny triangles on the divider.

It's hard to decipher if you:
A: Don't want to see the tree at all
B: Want to see the tree, but don't want the "Audio" branch auto-expanding

Which is it?

Option B Marko,  I don't want the tree auto expanding on the Audio section.

Happy to see the tree in say playlists.

Hope that helps.

If the Audio section is expanded, click on the button to collapse it, then go to Tools > Options > Tree & View > Tree section  and switch the Auto expand option off.

Just make sure that if, for any reason, you expand the Audio Section you collapse it when you have finished doing whatever it was that required you to expand it.
