Several sets of video files I have indicated that they are at 25fps when inspecting the files via tagging. The resultant playback shows heavy judder every second or so, especially when the camera is panning.
I see there are display options in MC to address playback of several different file FPS but none specific to 25fps. Is there a setting in MC's video and display section that I can use to address this type of file specifically or am I stuck with the judder?
Thank you very much for your suggestions.

The typical way to handle 25fps is to set your screen to a clean multiple of that. So 50Hz, or 100Hz. Then it should look smooth, at least it does for me.

You can set to MC to automatically change the display mode to match the video being played.
Options > Video > Display Settings: set Display Settings automatic Change Mode to ON (btw @Hendrik, the name of this setting could be fixed, sounds like a bad english translation)
This only works if your display supports different refresh rates. Most laptops only work at 60Hz.

My wife, and I, give thanks to you both for getting the issue resolved! My first time through, I failed to realize that the last setting in the list was for PAL 25/50 and going back and changing that in either the "Custom" or the "On" modes fixed the issue I was having. I am using a Sony Bravia 9 TV.
