First, I’d like to express my admiration for the incredible work you’ve done with JRiver Media Center. It’s become an indispensable tool for managing and enhancing my audio experience. I truly appreciate the passion and expertise your team brings to the world of high-fidelity audio/video.

As an enthusiastic user, I have a feature request that I believe would elevate JRiver’s functionality for headphones to a whole new level for audiophiles like myself. It would be fantastic to see a seamless integration of AutoEQ’s settings—specifically, EQ, Parametric EQ, and Convolution EQ (.wav)—within the JRiver platform.
-
Currently, I manually input the EQ and Parametric EQ settings and upload .wav files for Convolution EQ. While this process works, it can be time-consuming and less intuitive, especially when exploring various profiles or making adjustments. Having built-in support for AutoEQ’s data would streamline this workflow immensely, making it easier for users to fine-tune their headphone listening experience and further cement JRiver’s position as a leader in audio customization.
-
I understand this may present technical challenges, but I believe such an integration would be a highly valued addition for your user base. Enabling a direct import or dedicated AutoEQ integration would save time, improve usability, and enhance the precision of audio adjustments for headphones.

Thank you for considering this suggestion. I’m excited about the potential this feature holds and would be happy to provide any additional details or feedback to support its implementation.

Would you be willing to email a couple configuration files to matt at jriver?
I'll at least take a look and see what we might be able to do.
Thanks.

We're going to start with APO import because that can be written by a wide variety of tools.
