MC is quite big (10MB) as I only have a 56k Dial-Up.
Some suggestion:
Packing codecs separtely
WMA 7.1 Codec (2MB)
No point packing it with MC as MS WMA is bundled with Windows. Besides I think only few ppl in this world will use WMA. MS newest WMA9 is 4MB, then, MC will be 12MB.
The best way is to provide a link to MS WMA in the plugin page, this will help to reduce file size!
Real Plugin ??MB
Hey, it won't fuction with realone???
Plaese don't build-in this codec, it should be downloaded separately in plugin page

Thats because Real does not want anyone to use it, older versions of real will work.

not quite it is only 8.x megs
I have a high speed connection, it only takes a min or two to download.

Aye, I was thinking about this last night too. Have mercy on those poor 56k folks... no need to bundle all of the codecs that come with the standard package... they're all downloadable anyhow, aye?
I know that there's also the camp that says "Why should we have to download these things? Why can't you just ship them with the product" and I understand that. But, with the frequency of build releases, would it be possible to remove the built-in codecs? At least until you go final with it?

the problem with this before, it created problems where someone would download the smaller version and they would not have all the files. this created problems and then there seemed to be more bugs than there really was and that takes away from all the valid bug reports.
I think it should stay the way it is.
