Title: Capture card that works for 4k hdr, video only

Any cards work for just the video processing with up to 4k hdr? My processor will be stripping out the audio. I plan to send video only out of proccessor into htpc to use JRVR. Video only out to monitor from htpc.

I’ve tried to read through some of the threads. Does Magwell work? Which ones? Blackmagic seems to be a work in progress? I understand the issues with hdcp.

https://www.magewell.com/products/pro-capture-hdmi-4k-plus (or the LT) are known to work with my filter (https://www.avsforum.com/threads/magewell-pro-capture-card-with-hdr-and-audio-as-a-directshow-capture-card.3315866 or https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,140134.0.html) and switch HDR on/off automatically

the USB 4k plus also works but can't read HDR metadata (can see colourspace so a shortcut in which we switch to HDR if BT2020 is possible)

someone is testing the USB 4k pro atm which means it probably works soon

blackmagic cards do not work for this purpose at this point in time but may in future
