Title: Feature Request:Audio stream selection from right-click menu
Post by: winnebago on April 08, 2025, 11:17:22 pm
I'd like to be able to select the audio stream a video will play from the right-click menu. Attached is a right-click menu screenshot. Either add a menu option for video or audio options or add these options to More Play Options menu. With this enhancement, I can pre-select the supplemental audio track or commentary before I start the movie. Right now I have to start the movie, pause it, right-click, select my options, then resume play. It's a tad onerous. Maybe a Play With Options kind of menu. This would remove one of the last hassles I have with JRiver. You guys are super quick to fix bugs and keep up with A/V tech as it applies to the home computer. I'm glad to buy every year to support this very comprehensive A/V package.

Thank you, Devs!

Unfortunately the exact stream information required for this choice is only available once the file has been opened for playback, which is not something we can just do for the right-click menu as it would be too slow for a responsive UI.
