Title: Distortion and clipping on some bit perfect decodes
Post by: fegelmej on April 20, 2025, 04:52:10 pm
Recently upgraded to JRiver's Pi 5 installation for a, well, a Raspberry Pi 5.  That's connected to a Benchmark DAC 3.  When running in bit perfect mode, some FLAC files develop a lot of distortion in the higher frequencies.  If I don't force DoP in the DSP settings, and let it run at 44KHz, everything is fine.  I've down sampled everything above 192KHz to 192.  That helped a little bit, but still hearing it.  Any suggestions for stabilizing the bit perfect capabilities of both MC and Benchmark?
