Title: Visualization / customizing GUI
Post by: FoobyLinux on April 21, 2025, 03:06:26 pm
Good evening everybody!

For various reasons, I have changed from Windows to Linux. As I have not been able to get Foobar2000 running to my satisfaction, the JRiver Media Center might be an alternative for me. But I haven't been able yet to customize the GUI. Is it possible to get a look like in the attached screenshot? Visualizations like level or equalizer are nice to have. I really would like to have a bigger view of the front cover.

Thank you in advance and best regards

You probably can't get a duplicate of another program, but the wiki has information on customizing views.

Right click at the top to add a spectrum analyzer, etc.

Take a look at Theater View also.

Thank you for the answer although it has not helped.
By chance, I found the solution. I simply clicked on "Playing now" and I got a bigger album art view. The window is even resizable.

If you right-click up around where it says "A Beginning" in your screenshot, you can select "show waveform." If you've performed audio analysis on your files then a waveform will be displayed as the playback bar when you begin playback.

The Waveform is only displayed if Analyze Waveform is enabled in Tools >Options > Library & Folders > Analyze Audio
