Title: Library auto import no longer autoremoves deleted/moved media
Post by: Doc4 on April 30, 2025, 11:38:23 pm
In all previous versions I've used, if I were to move or delete content in a library folder, the next time autoimport runs (with update for external changes and fix broken links both enabled in all media folders), removed content would be removed from the library automatically and this would be mentioned in the import summary. If I do this in version 34.0.19 after upgrading from 33, they're left orphaned. Running auto import manually or refreshing the library view do not rectify this, and attempting to play them results in the expected "Something went wrong with playback. The file could not be found. ..." This appears to be a regression unless I'm unaware of some changes.

i'm not alone! exactly the same thing.
i cleared the library and imported it again from 33, without success.

33 has no problems.

and yes, i reinstalled twice.

all parameters are same as with 33

'Fix broken links: yes' does it for me. 'Fix broken links: Yes (protect files on missing drives)' doesn't anymore.

I wish someone could fix the few settings pop-ups which can not be resized, too.
