Tell Norton that they have a false positive.

We recommend using Windows Defender and no other antivirus.

You have to "allow the app".

MC makes automatic library backups in your documents folder.
To prevent the backups from eating up more and more disk space, ad-infinitum, MC also manages the retention of old backups by periodically deleting the older ones.

MC cannot do this task if Norton is interfering.
Do you find that kind of "help" from Norton useful?
