Hendrik, I hate to say this but the colour is still so weird for the menu on Theatre View using BT2020. We first had green tint, now we have a discription that I cant even explain, but guests say to me whats up with that colour its so strange.....
When everything is on BT709 in JRVR and BT709 on the projector all colours in Theatre View look totally normal. All the posters, faces and skin tones look totally correct as they have done for years and years..... Just perfect!
I didnt want to say its still wrong to you as I hate to look like Im moaning!
However when guests say whats wrong with your colour, it annoys me as I know its wrong.
Of course there is nothing wrong with the colour when plaing a movie, all there is correct, the issue is just with the Theatre View menu....
I wish there were others here that use BT2020, have the proj also set on BT2020 and tick the box in Theatre View for displaying the menu in BT2020, can you back me up please that the colour is off.
Surely this could also be tested on an oled if you dont have a proj.

I compared the actual image with JRVR doing the exact same processing and the output was identical, so if you have JRVR set to BT.2020 and Theater View set to BT.2020, they do the same thing.
Its easy to test by running Theater View in BT.709 (eg. the original), then recoding a quick video of that (which Windows has built-in support for now), and then playing this video through JRVR set to BT.2020. This should then look identical to Theater View set to BT.2020 itself.
Also, please provide more information other then "doesn't look right", what doesn't look right?

I've attached two comparison images, Theater View BT.2020, and Theater View BT.709 converted to BT.2020 using JRVR, the images seem identical to me. Ignore the different background image, just focus on the posters.

If you compare that with BT.709 even, all it does is look a bit more .. bland, which exactly counters the previous explanation of colors, red in particular, being oversaturated.
Maybe post an image of your JRVR OSD, so we can confirm if its doing something else?
If you rely on a 3DLUT, Theater View would of course not apply that, and if you use a ICC profile, that would entirely override the calibration in JRVR (and the gamut option have no impact).

Many thanks Hendrik for getting back.
I dont use 3DLUT or ICC profile.
Your two images look almost identical, mine dont at all.
When I have JRVR set to 709, and the proj set to 709 and the 2020 in Theatre View unticked my Theatre View looks like yours, as I would say normal and correct colours.
When I have JRVR set to 2020, and the proj set to 2020 and 2020 in Theatre View ticked ON, Theatre View colours dont look anything like the 709 version or yours at all. The whole menu still has the very odd greenish tinto to it and looks very very unnatural.
Its late here now so I will take images tomorrow and post for you to see. I just cant think why mine looks terrible compared to yours. Its very odd indeed.

If its still green, are you certain you updated to the latest version?
