Title: Best way to move files from one drive to another for MC

I have a folder with a load of files that I need to move to another drive.  Is there a way to do this so that MC knows I have just moved the files from one drive letter to another?

I was thinking of copying the files from source drive to destination drive, re import in to MC and then remove the source files from MC. 

Is there way to tell MC that all the files in a particular folder and sub structure are now on a new drive, keeping them intact in playlists as well?
