Title: PDF extras opening within MC despite handling options

I wonder if the recent addition of Rich Data files is interacting with the previous "extras" functionality.  I bring this up since, with MC 34.0.24, despite having the options for

Adobe Acrobat Files (pdf)

within File Types set to have a Playback Method of "External Program (default)", per the screenshot attached, PDF files seem to all be opening within MC.  My default program for PDFs, at least within Windows File Explorer, is Adobe Acrobat.

Is there some other option I should be examining?  This does seem like a recent change in behavior.

You are correct, it was changed to always play PDFs in MC for the Rich Data files.  I will change it so that it only does so if "Automatic" is selected for the play behavior.  Thanks.
