Title: Struggling with A/V Sync Correction - Might be a "cockpit" problem on my end.
Post by: Sky King on May 15, 2025, 01:31:58 pm
I am still having issues regarding A/V sync that I can't seem to work through and maybe someone can help me figure out what I am doing wrong.

I can correctly set A/V sync on a per movie basis by using the Shift + < and > keys on the keyboard.  In my case with the HTPC and my Sony Bravia 9 TV it is currently at about -200ms to correct what I am experiencing.  When I go into the Tools/Options/Video/Advanced portion of the program, no matter what values (up to +/- 2000ms) I set into the two selections for 24HZ or 50, 60. or 120 HZ, nothing changes.  Any idea I what I am doing wrong?  Is it because the HTPC's desktop is not set to exactly 24, 50, 60, or 120 HZ?  In my case the desktop is running at just under 60 HZ.

Tell me I am not losing my mind!
