JRiver 34, paid upgrade, is not working properly under Kubuntu 25.04; it freezes at end of songs. I gave more details in other thread, and was told to install a different operating system.
So I have; Installed Mint on another machine, intended to use remotely while maybe whatever is wrong with 34 on Kubuntu resolves or I have time to reinstall all my software onto a new OS so I will be able to use JRiver on main machine.
However, Mint install of JRiver cannot get past credentials. It can access the library with the access key, but keeps asking for me to reenter credentials. So I thought, maybe I should reset access key and password on host. Did that, no luck. However, my old Mac install of MediaCenter 33 can still acess the host library, once I entered the new password.
So I have really spent more time trying to get JRiver to work after upgrade to 34 than using it to, like, play music!
Any idea why access key, user name, and password work on Mac 33 guest but only the access key works for Linux 34 guest and then it just gets stuck forever at the credentials?

I reset the sharing key under Advanced and now the Linux guest can get in; I was hoping just changing the key and password which I'd already done would suffice, but then I recalled from similar issue in past I had to "reset" ("makes all shares invald") it in Advanced and that back when I first had to do that, I did not find that note here in any of the related threads I came across. So, will leave this here in case it is of help to anyone else at some point.
