Title: Cue Sheet Files
Post by: rsg on May 20, 2025, 11:54:12 pm
So, cue sheet files...are they are kind of FLAC? In MC, they can be identified by all the tracks in one album having the same 'Bitrate'. Yet, they are listed simply as FLAC in MC. Other apps list them as 'Cue Sheet' type files. Anyway, is there a way in MC to identify all my cue sheet files and batch convert them (with Library Files > Convert) to regular FLACS?

You can import CUE files (or not).  Check your import settings.

Then select them and convert to FLAC.

Yes, I have just ticked that box in import settings now. All the cue files I have imported up to now are listed as FLAC in MC; they easily detected since all tracks on one album have the same bitrate (and other apps identify them as Cue). Shouldn't they be listed as 'Cue' files in MC? I could easily batch convert them to FLAC if they were designated as 'Cue'.

Search for cue files.
