Title: Media Library Icons. Wish List.
Post by: simpleuser99 on January 13, 2003, 10:14:15 pm
:)
Hi All,
I am super happy with the development of the Unicode MC9. I am expanding my music, and video, library and WMP is growing more and more distant. (It's nice to feel a little freedom)
I have a humble request for an added/changed feature in MC9:
   - When looking at the Medial library, and all the sub views like artist/album, genre, etc. all the files have a "musical note" icon next to them. Could MC9 be more selective witht the different file types.
+ For example: Music can have the musical note, Video can have a movie film reel, Pictures can have a Camera, Internet has something but maybe also a Radio Tower, Internet sites, etc can have their local icon or a default internet style icon.

Since the lists can get quite large this would make things easier when moving files from one list/view/db to another.

Thanks, and keep up the great work.

Gary

Kurt's signature line just made me think how cool it would be if MC\MJ would show an icon that looked like whichever handheld you were using for that item in MJ\MC.

Yes, I probably could make that statement a little more confusing.

But like if you had the iPod plugged in, then when you opened up the handhelds branch in MJ, it would show an icon that looked like the iPod. Same for all the other types out there that they have specific plugins for. Those handhelds that act like portable drives... not sure how that would work.
