is rock under Pop music or is Pop under rock music

I would like to have different groups

National Music;
Celtic
African
Mexican

Pop
Rock
Disco
Heavy metal

Blues dont know where to putthis

R&B
Rap

Classical the different type
barque
brass

so on and so forth can any one help me with this please

I would say that rock came under the general genre Popular Music but not Pop.  Pop is a genre in itself.
