Title: MC 9 - Encoder Options Not Displayed
Post by: aRCLiGHT on December 31, 2002, 11:32:57 am
Not sure if this is meant to be, but in MJ the Encoder Options tab was avilable under the Options dialog.  This is not the case in MC.  It seems the other options are there, but not Encoding.  The only way I can get to it is from the Rip or Convert screens.

Yeah, that had me stymied, too.  I wish they would put ALL the options in one place.

I think the idea was that you might want different encoding settings for a rip than a convert so they were split up.

Yep.  My rip settings are for APE and convert settings for MP3

Now that's a coincidence...

I'm listening to "Rock and Roll Woman" from that same album.

Then wouldn't it make sense to have the encoder options still in the options section but have the ability to have separate RIP and Convert settings.  Not having all your options in one area is a bit of a pain.....
