Title: DVDs from server
Post by: jfath on December 20, 2002, 06:24:41 am
Sorry if I missed this elsewhere...

I have a number of DVDs made from family videos
stored on my AV server.  I can make an .iso
image, then mount with Daemon Tools and play
them with MC9.  They do start at the first chapter
and not the title menu as reported in another post.

Is there / will there be a way to play the files
directly by choosing the VIDEO_TS.IFO file as
is supported by PowerDVD and WinDVD?

Thanks.

Jerry

Anyone?

Maybe allow selecting the VOB files?

I am also very interested in this feature.  Actually if MC doesn't support this, then I can't use it for DVDs, as I never watch discs - I always rip them to hard drive (stripping copyright notices, menus, foreign subtitles / languages, etc) and then watch them from there.
