Title: cpu activity?

hi, about every 8 seconds media center locks up and there is cpu activity. this activity lasts for about 5or7 seconds and then everything is fine. it happens no matter what i am doing in media center. it wasnt happening the first few days of trying media center.i really really like mc and want to purchase. i know there must be a fix. running on windows 98se.sorry i dont kmow how to upload my system info. thanks

System info comes from MC/Help.  Copy there and paste here.

If you're using build 89, there's a problem with it you can fix by reading the last part of the thread on CD burning.  

Lockup every 8 seconds is strange.  Try uninstall, reboot, reinstall.
