Title: 9.0.89 - Media Editor: Can't Save As mp3
Post by: Markeau on December 27, 2002, 05:59:25 pm
After opening an mp3 in Media Editor I can't Save As an mp3, the only selection in the Save As Type dialog is "Windows PCM (*.wav)".  I know this used to work in v8, but this is the first time I've tried in v9.

Try downloading encoder plugins for whatever formats you want to edit, before you edit the file--I had this problem with an earlier build, and I recall that it went away after that. Doesn't seem to matter if you thought you already had the plugins.

Wow that worked!  I was using the native LAME encoder before but when I dl'd the LAME plugin I could save as mp3 again.
