I really enjoy and appreciate the J River products, but is there any chance for a new version to replace MC9.0.89 which seems to have it's fair share of problems? Sure would make us all a nice Christmas present.
Wishing all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a wonderful Happy New Year!!Joe K

Sorry, Joe. No new toys this week.
If you have a problem, maybe somebody can help if you'll tell us a little more.
Merry Christmas.

I have been under the weather for a month now, My E.S.P. and liver on the blink (From Zocor Medication). And the Bronchitis don't help none. I am now waiting for some important body parts to fall off.
Now drinking water and diet soda.

Thank you Jim H. I have another post " No More Freezes, But Unable to Burn" that describes the problems I am having and I have been reading various post where several other users are having similar problems.
I did burn about a dozen audio CDs of children's Christmas music yesterday by using Sony Extreme software with out any problems except it is so much easier to use J River and burn from a playlist when everything is working correctly. When I tried to use MC9 to burn with, all I kept getting was an option to analyze. Thank you all for your help. Happy holidays, Joe Karnes

Joe, MJ is asking to analyze your playlist before burning so it can calculate the correct replay gain, so that all the tracks play at the same volume level.
This occurs when you check the "apply playback and DSP settings to the CD" option and MJ sees that there are one or more tracks in your playlist that have never had "replay gain" calculated on them. Once it's calculated, it won't need to do it again.
Having said that, we should make it more clear that this is what's happening when you go to burn a CD.
Anyway, you can either let it do the analysis, and then go ahead and burn the CD, or you can uncheck that option and it won't pop up the analysis screen.

John T. thank you for your reply. I have ran replay gain analyzes on all my three thousand plus tracks and only two tracks were unable to be corrected. Without changing any settings this morning, I attempted to burn a 22 track playlist of various artist. I did have the test mode selected and I did not receive the Analyze pop-up this time. It began the write process and then on the second track a pop-up " can not write incompatabile format" appeared. Even though I had Test Mode selected, the CD is now closed with 22 Audio Tracks listed along with their start times and length. I checked the status of the CD with Sony CD Extreme software that I have had on my system as long as I have been using J River products for several years now. I did install Windows Media Player 9 several months ago, but my burning has only been a problem on the last couple versions of MC9. Thank you for any suggestions. Joe Karnes
