Title: to Santa Crus=display request
Post by: zevele10 on December 23, 2002, 09:58:33 am
IN Music Match you can set to have the art sleeve from the song playing as titled on full screen display.
Very nice.
Can we get such a thing with MC ?

Hi Zevele;

I asked for that feature a long time ago when MC9 first went into beta.

What was provided as a result of the request was only a partial improvement...

* Under Properties select Image.
* Click on the playing song.
* Double click the Image in Properties.

One of two things will happen depending on the state of the top screen ...

* The image will show up in the top screen which you can double click on to make full screen.
* The image will jump to full screen.

Problems with this implementation, as I see it, currently are...

* The implementation is rather crude as sometimes only a blank screen shows up (a second double click on the blank screen will usually bring up the full screen image).

* The image will not change to keep up with the currently playing album (this needs to be fixed).

* If you were watching visualizations before double clicking on the image they will not come back after watching the full screen image.

* The image in the Properties will not change to keep up with the currently playing album (again, this needs to be fixed).

The visu with art sleeve is so much a very big junk in MJ8 and MC9 that you may thing it is a bug ,not a feature.As i said many many times :give us back the art sleeve visu as in MJ7.
Beside this what is great with MM is that you get the art sleeve outside the program ,as a wallpaper.

I mean you really get a full screen with only the sleeve.
Now if you have Music Match on you computer ,play few songs with it ,and after it ,play the same with MC_J.
You would understand why i ask for such a display in MC:
the sound is XXX times better with MC_J
