Title: Can't Install Media Center

I'm running V8.0.393 on XP. I just bought an IPod for Windows and want to use it. I downloaded the IPod plug-in and found many problems so I've downloaded the V9 beta but when I run the downloaded exe I immediately get: MediaCenter9.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.  

And then: AppName: mediacenter9.exe       AppVer: 0.0.0.0       ModName: nview.dll
ModVer: 6.13.10.2942       Offset: 00009c4f

Any suggestions?

Reboot, reinstall?

If you can get to Help in MC, please copy your system info and paste it here.
