Title: ***CODE RED! CODE RED!***
Post by: fdgsdfg on December 20, 2002, 02:05:07 am
Private Santiago/JimH/JohnT,

I have a HUGE problem:  MC/MJ said my license expired.  I followed the "fix" post at http://www.musicex.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=beta;action=display;num=1038751118

Upon reinstall, I got an error message (still) saying "preview version expired."

I did a windows Add/Remove Programs and tried to get rid of MC/MJ.  I reinstalled from the post again.  I got the same error message -- "preview version expired."

I deleted the JRiver directories and files and reinstalled.  I STILL got the error -- "preview version expired."

I purchased a v. 8 license and the upgrade to v. 9 awhile ago.  Currently, the app wont launch at all (either version).  WTH is going wrong?

Please note the current JRiver directory contains "Media Jukebox" NOT "Media Center."

-Can't we all just get along?

P.s.  I'm having a party tonight.

P.p.s.  I'd like to finish making CD's for my party

What version of MJ?  If it isn't the latest, please try it.

Please use a subject that describes the problem.

How'd you manage to post the System Info if MC won't even launch?

As Jim suggested, you might start a thread with a subject that actually describes your problem. Otherwise a lot of people who can help won't read it.

Doof has a valid question/point: your description of what is going on is not consistent. In order to figure out what is happening, we need good information.

You know what?

Just delete this thread.  I'm gonna through this computer off my balcony and start over, ok?

I had an alternative suggestion for you but I think Jim would delete it.

Make sure you don't hit anyone, it could become even more costly

What's the expression . . . "thowing the baby put with the bathwater?"

I'm going to get a new computer so I can get MJ to work.

DONT TELL MY WIFE!!!

Thx for the input . . .
