Hi I am having trouble getting going on this. I am unable to download MP3 encoders and info from YADB etc. I keep getting failed to connect to server messages :-[
I am trying to use the v9 beta version. I downloaded at work and it worked fine (windows 2000 prof) but on my hoome computer it just doesn't seem to work. I have installed and uninstalled a few times now.
I have removed all fire walls and it still happens. Could it be running as the basic version and not the PLUS, how would I know?

Help/Registration info will tell you whether it's licensed or not.
Downloading encoder plug-in problems could be a firewall. Deactivating sometimes isn't enough. Uninstalling is. Try using IE as your browser if you're not.
More detail will help. You can copy your system info from Help and paste it here. Make sure you have the latest version available.

Are you operating through a proxy server?
MC has some issues with Microsoft Proxy Servers that, last I knew, were being worked on, although I haven't heard anything about this in quite a while.
