Title: Small, tiny request: Genre list!

Hi! I'm impressed with the speed of the updates...two in a day???

Anyway, about the genre box in file properties: Please let me have the drop-down again! Sure, there's a dropdown if the files selected contains different genres, but I really liked the old style (MJ8) drop-down with ALL existing genres, not just the selected ones...please? :)

they told me before that they wanted to get away from a drop down list since there are so many genre's most of them I think are dumb and make no sence.

i think if i had to do it, i would include a genre list that Billboard tracks, and that would be it.

I vote for the drop down list back.  I selected the genres I liked and it was easy to choose from my list in the drop down.  Now I have to remember what the heck I used. Ahh to much work.

I configurable Genre list will be great- same as preference list.

I also vote for a drop down list of Genre's.

As someone suggested though, it'd be nice if we could configure which Genre's appear in the list by giving us a list in the options dialog and letting us check which ones we want to appear in the list.

Similar to Dr Tag's quick genre tagging option.

another vote for a drop down list...

maybe containing only genres allready used in the database.
