Title: tags 'n classical music.. the vexed composer prob.
Post by: mollw on December 06, 2002, 05:49:42 am
hi,

has anyone got suggestions for how best to tag classical music? Intuitively I prefer using artist for composer and I'm currently using "album artist" for orchestra/conductor etc.

Has anyone got any better suggestions? Better yet, are we going to see a composer field one day - compatible with Mac ipod??

I know, I asked them to put in a combo box so a user could save them in Standard ID3v2 Tags.

King, you know we love you ::)

And Jim already left for Carolina in your christmas present (http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/vdetail.jtmpl?car_id=116325408&dealer_id=11063861&make=GEO&distance=100&max_price=1000&model=GEOMETRO&advcd_on=n&end_year=2003&min_price=10&certified=n&address=55413&search_type=used&advanced=n&start_year=1982&color=&car_year=1991) ;D

About the composer tag mapping to ID3v2 fields, we'll figure it out before release.  Stay tuned...

With the week Ive had, I need a laugh (thankfully the G&Ts are kicking in).

Nice - I rented a Camry in AZ on holiday this year. It seemed to be the size of a tank: and even then the feeling on the freeway was akin to being 5 again - walking through a forest of grownups/SUVs. Smooth and fully loaded though.

Back in the UK I have a Mercedes A-class.

Getting an mp3 compatible CD stereo for it next week - then I can try out MC burning. Tell Jim to get you one. If nothing else you can park it on the back of your truck. :)
