I can't uninstall Media Center because a message says "Windows is searching for JRMediaUninstall.exe".

Well, you need to get rid of all the registry entries and then reboot to save mode and delete the folder. Try a registry cleaner or searcher and get rid of all entries "jriver"and "mediaserver". Good luck.

That's probably our problem. If you can wait a build or two, we'll have it fixed. Then you'll need to install and uninstall.
You could also search for the file and rename it.

I noticed in XP in All Programs I have both Media Center 9.0 and Media Jukebox 9.0 listed. Both seem to pull up Media Center, so is there a save way to delete MJ here without deleting MC?

Jorge: Me too. Check to see if the shortcuts point to the same file. If so, then you can safely delete the old ones.
