Hi,
Thank you for making 9.0 a very pleasant experience.
I've noticed that when MJ starts to analyse drives, it is quite slow. I hope to minimize it, and increase my MJ experience.
For example, when I wish to copy or move files from 1 location to another, I would need to click on the right mouse item to bring up a pop up menu, look under TOOLs, and select COPY/MOVE.
The feature is fine, but when I click the right menu, it takes a very long time for MJ to respond- not sure if it is analysing the drives in my system.
My request is that in the main TOOL menu, also add the COPY/MOVE function so that I can avoid using the RIGHT MENU access.

For sure. We hope to get pretty much all of the r-click functionality exposed in the main menus before release.
And it shouldn't be slow. Do you have like 100k files or something?
Thanks JNKH.

Hi Matt,
I guess the development team getting the release out soon, and could be in time for Christmas. It will be a joyful occassion.
Thank you for assuring that most items will be exposed in the MENU bar.
I've written to MJ a couple of time on right CLICK. On my notebook, MJ Right click response very quickly- but I do not any attached CD drives.
On my HP pavillion, I notice that MJ is slow when analysing drives - this I notice when I clicked on the CD drives. I notice the application waits when I Right click.
In the Task Window mgr, it says "NOT RESPONDING" for a few secs, and then it recovers, and MJ returns.
This could a few reasons why Right click has some response time issue.

Good call -- I bet it is the "Send To" device part. However, it should only be slow for the first right-click. If it's slow every time, we're doing something wrong...

There is something funky going on there, though... I've noticed that whenever I try to send MJ into fullscreen, the disc in my CD-ROM spins up. It's a data disc that I've left in there (a game I'm playing), and MJ does this every time I click the Full Screen button.

Hi Matt,
Thank you for your attention on the R-Click waiting problem.
I only experience this r-click problem on my HP Pavilion, and not on my HP notebook.
Do you need any information to troubleshoot further?
